The northern Red Sea is one of the best scuba-diving destinations in the world. There's very little rain and no rivers to sully the water, so visibility regularly exceeds 40 m - the kind of clarity you would get maybe once or twice a year in Mozambique or KZN, writes Jon Minster, after his visit to Egypt.
