Walk on PE’s Shark Rock Pier

Port Elizabeth has a popular stretch of coast from King's Beach past Humewood and Hobie Beach to Summerstrand. It gets wilder towards Cape Recife – there are lots of places to picnic en route.  
Hobie Beach, just off Shark Rock Pier, is a small, very pretty beach. Take a stroll along the pier, which is 137 m long and offers a great view of the harbour and over the sea. You'll see lots of windsurfers on a windy day, and you may even see dolphins.
