This is a perfect base because there’s plenty to do in the area – it’s within easy striking distance of the Kruger.

This is a huge campsite that fills up during the school holidays, but the rest of the year you’ll find peace and quiet.
It has swimming pools (one heated), tennis courts, a putt-putt course, a restaurant, a well-stocked shop and a liquor store.
The Moholoholo Wildlife Rehab Centre, where you can get close to raptors and predators, is 15 km down the road and the Orpen Gate to the Kruger just 75 km away, so you can easily go for a day drive.

Wake up early and see how the sun lights up the cliffs that rise up from the Lowveld to the Drakensberg escarpment.

Go! says: If you prefer a quieter, cooler campsite, try the Forever Resorts Blyde Canyon on the escarpment.
