Farm bread

1. Set the scene. Preheat the oven to 180° C and butter two medium-sized bread pans.
2. Into the pan. Knead the dough back to its original consistency and divide it in two. Shape the dough to fit in the pans, cover with a dishcloth and let it rise to double the volume.
3. Garnishing. For a shiny crust, paint with beaten egg. Sprinkle with poppy or sesame seeds.
4. Hot stuff. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
