When? Usually the last fortnight of December. Apricots are harvested only two weeks of the year; call to find out when they’re ripe.

Berries. Bon-Af berry farm at Parys. You can go on a farm tour (the have 65 cultivars of berries including frambois, bramble, blueberries and blackberries).
When? November to April
Cost: R30 for the tour, R120 per kilogram of berries to take home. (What you eat while you pick is free.)

When? Mid-September to mid-December every weekend and holiday, 10.30 am to 4 pm.
Cost: Entry R30 per adult R20 per child; about R4 per kilogram for the strawberries.
