Herb-flavoured boerewors
This makes a great appetiser. Braai the wors, slice it and pass it around while everyone’s standing around the fire.
You need (for 4 people)
• 5 tablespoons olive oil
• 3 sprigs rosemary, chopped
• 3 tablespoons parsley, chopped
• 3 big garlic cloves, bruised
• grated peel of 1 lemon
• 500g boerewors
Here’s how
1. Full of flavour. Combine the olive oil, herbs, garlic and lemon. Put the boerewors in a bowl and
drizzle the herby oil over it. Allow it to marinate for a few hours.
2. Heat wave. While you’re braaiing the wors, baste it with the marinade. Slice and eat it while it’s still hot.
