Ever leant off the edge of a jetty with your sunglasses on your head and dropped them in the river? Then this clever new strap is for you, especially if you’ve shelled out good money for a pair of Oakleys.
What makes it different from a regular strap is that it’s made of stainless-steel wire, so it sticks out behind you rather than dangling down the back of your neck. This has a number of advantages.
For one, it doesn’t get stuck on your collar, so taking it off is easy. It also won’t tickle or irritate the skin on your neck. But the biggest plus is that it doesn’t get soaked in sweat and sunscreen, a common problem, especially if you’re hiking or doing some other form of outdoor activity.
The strap can be used in conjunction with a hat, and comes in two sizes.
