Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man fleece jacket
There’s a Monkey Woman jacket too, made of the same plush fleece but with a more feminine cut. Both come in a range of colours.
This jacket is made of a special fleece that looks like a shag pile carpet. The manufacturers set out to mimic animal fur, and the result is a fabric that’s incredibly soft and fluffy. And warm!
It works just like fur, trapping air between the “hairs” and providing excellent insulation from the cold.
In fact, the fabric is so warm that it’s even thinner than a normal fleece jacket, which keeps the size and weight of the jacket to a minimum, and keeps the serious mountain men smiling.
