Pinnacle silver plasters
Ever wondered why your mom can only wear sterling silver earrings and not the dodgy flea market ones?
It’s not because she’s lobbying for a better birthday present, it’s because silver has antibacterial properties that prevent infection, so her earlobes won’t get sore and itchy.
The manufacturer claims that the silver ions in the pads of these plasters will reduce infection and speed up the healing process.
We reckon it’s fine for a small cut or graze, but on a more serious wound it’s a good idea to apply antiseptic cream that can penetrate deeper.
