Burnshield Hydrogel burn dressing
Did you know that Burnshield hydrogel dressing is a South African invention? Medical people the world over use it as the first line of treatment for any kind of burn.
To use one, remove the dressing from the packaging, apply it to the affected area and
cover it with a crepe bandage. The dressing is saturated with a substance called Hydrogel, a mixture of tea tree oil and water, which cools down the burn wound and speeds up healing.
The dressings are available in different sizes, and everyone should have at least one in their first-aid kit.
