First Ascent has used its highest-grade goose down (92/8) to make this bag, and it shows. It fluffs up like a soufflé when you take it out of the stuff sack and it feels wonderfully soft when you crawl inside.

The shape is also a selling point. Where most down sleeping bags have a pronounced mummy profile, this one has a more gently contoured design that still insulates well without making you feel like Tutankhamen trapped in his sarcophagus.
