An excellent three-sleeper tent
This is the tent that I used on the Drakensberg traverse. It was the lightest three-person model we could find, and it served us well. It weighs 2,26 kg, but we left the stuff sack and some of the tent pegs at home and cut the weight down to under 2 kg. That’s excellent for a three-sleeper.
It stood its ground in rain, hail and wind. Only in the heaviest downpour did we notice a fine spray penetrating through the roof. Subsequently, Black Diamond has upgraded the fabric to something it calls NeoTex, which is still lightweight but is claimed to be much more water-resistant.
