Modern backpacks generally have a sleek profile with no side pockets, or, at best, expanding “bellows” pockets.
Hats off to Bushtec for bucking the trend! This pack has big side pockets for smaller items like sunscreen, a camera and binoculars – things you want easy access to. But its best quality is the price; it costs less than some daypacks!
It may not be as fashionable as many of the imported brands, and you won’t find fancy extras like a built-in rain cover, but it’s a comfortable, hardy trail pack.
