Also known as bush braais

Bush BBQ's

Some of the camps in the park offer bush BBQs (braais). A ranger will drive your group (usually a minimum of eight is required) to a designated spot in the bush where a meal is prepared on an open fire. Guests can then enjoy supper, the feel of the wild and each other's company under the African night sky!

This really is an unforgettable experience. After supper you will take a slow game drive back to camp. All the bush BBQ sites have toilet facilities and are situated in areas where rangers can keep visitors safe. Please find out from your specific camp whether or not they offer bush BBQs. Also note that this activity does not take place in rainy weather.
