Top 5 camps for birding inside of camp

Camp birding

The camps themselves are probably some of the best birding spots in the whole Kruger National Park. This is understandable since the great variety of plants, flowers and trees planted and maintained attract a lot of birds. In addition, the park has put in bird baths and built structures that make for good nesting spots. A lot of birds also search for food scraps at the cafeterias or in the campsites, or are unfortunately fed.

As a result, all of Kruger's camps are excellent birding destinations. Below we have chosen our top five camps for birding. The camps were chosen in part for the great diversity of birdlife in camp, and in part for the fact that the birds are not easily startled when approached.
