One thing many visitors are very particular about is food! Unfortunately the quality of food in Kruger's cafeterias and restaurants will never be constant, making it difficult to choose the best camps for food… But we can comment on the location and atmosphere of the cafeterias and restaurants. We also took into account the view, amount of space, birdlife, etc.

In the Kruger National Park, most camps have built the cafeterias and restaurants right next to each other. Based on the points mentioned above, we have listed our five favourite cafeterias and restaurants.

Lower Sabie

There's large wooden deck overlooking the Sabie River. Stunning design.

Mopani

It overlooks Pioneer Dam and there's a lounge and bar with TV.

Skukuza

It's right next to the Sabie River, and has a small wooden deck. Bats make a great talking point!

Letaba

Has a  stunning view over the Letaba River!

Pretoriuskop

Restaurant has an interesting design and lounge.
