Elephants occur throughout the Kruger National Park, but are particularly plentiful along the large rivers of the south and in the mopaneveld in the north. The triangle that is formed by Skukuza, Lower Sabie and Tshokwane is excellent for elephants in the south, while camps like Letaba, Mopani and Shingwedzi are ideal for elephant sightings in the north.
