There are two species of rhino in the Kruger National Park: black and white rhinos. Black rhinos are browsers. Their numbers are very low, making it difficult to find them. They prefer dense thickets in the south of the park, mostly in the vicinity of Skukuza. Your chances of seeing this rare beast are very slim, but it's not impossible. The S65 N'waswitshaka road is one of the better roads for black rhino. I have also seen one on the northern tip of the S114.
White rhinos, on the other hand, are very common in certain areas of the Kruger National Park, especially in the south. They are grazers and prefer relatively open country. You should see white rhinos on most of the roads around Crocodile Bridge, while Lower Sabie, Berg-en-Dal, Skukuza and Pretoriuskop are also excellent for white rhinos.
