Mopani has no campsite and little variety in terms of accommodation. The surrounding vegetation is dominated by monotonous stands of mopane trees, making game viewing a challenging exercise. As a result, the camp and the surrounding roads are generally very quiet, and maybe that is why Mopani appeals to some.
The camp does have a very nice swimming pool and a restaurant that overlooks Pioneer Dam. There is also a short hiking trail that runs all along the dam's edge.
To explore Mopani, scroll over the map below to view different areas of the camp. For more information and photos of specific facilities, just click on the respective icon. To explore the road system around camp, follow the game-viewing link on the right.
