African wild cats look like feral house cats. They are, in fact, the direct ancestors of the pets we have today. They look very similar, but are slightly larger and taller and have a light, sandy-brown to darker grey body colour. They also have black stripes on their legs and tails, along with a reddish-brown colour behind the ears.
Consider yourself lucky if you see one in the Kruger National Park! Sightings are few and very random, and often take place on guided night drives.
African wild cats

Your best bet would be to go on a few guided night drives.
