Rock dassies look like fat guinea pigs and are only found in rocky areas. There are a few rocky outcrops in the Kruger National Park that are inhabited by these strange little creatures. You will see them sitting on the rocks sunbathing or hopping for cover. They are often caught by birds of prey.
