Expiditions to the north and south start and end at the Cathedral Peak Hotel in the northern Berg.

Basotho ponies might try your bottom, and a good pair of cycling shorts could spare you blisters.

The Sentinel can be tackled with a profesional guide, or on your own if you have equipment.

Sterkhorn (the jagged mountain to the right of the flat table of Cathkin) beckons a group of climbers on the slopes of the Little Berg. Mount Memory is the northernmost summit of Sterkhorn.
