Wesley Moodie

On 2 July 2005 South African Wesley Moodie and Australian Stephen Huss won the Wimbledon men’s doubles title. They had never played together before this.

It was the first time since 1982 that a South African had won a title at Wimbledon.

Moodie stepped into the limelight in 2003, when he won the Japan Open, beating number 5, Mario Ancic.
